TAKEOFF with TAAG

TAKEOFF with TAAG

The sky is not the limit. It is only the beginning.

As Angola’s national flag carrier and a leading player in the aviation industry, TAAG plays a fundamental role in creating employment opportunities for Angolans. As part of this commitment, and with "People and Community" established as the airline’s first strategic pillar, we created the TAKEOFF with TAAG Internship Programme, an initiative that reinforces our corporate social responsibility by promoting equity, investing in the future of young Angolans, and developing local talent.

Why this initiative? Because we recognise the challenges of entering the job market without prior experience and the importance of connecting with the professional world during a decisive stage such as the final year of university studies. Through TAKEOFF with TAAG, we provide a structured learning environment where students have the opportunity to acquire essential skills, prepare for the challenges of the professional world, and actively contribute to the aviation sector.

More than just an internship programme, TAKEOFF with TAAG is a gateway to a successful career. Designed for final-year undergraduate students and recent graduates, the programme offers an immersive experience in one of the world's most dynamic and challenging industries, generating positive social impact by facilitating the transition from academia to the job market.

Designed as a journey of three to six months of growth and achievement, TAKEOFF with TAAG draws inspiration from the moment an aircraft leaves the ground and takes to the skies towards new horizons, symbolising the starting point of a professional journey capable of reaching great heights.

Why choose TAKEOFF with TAAG?

These are the key benefits of joining us on this journey:

  • Professional experience with an internationally recognised airline
  • Guidance and mentorship from industry experts
  • Networking opportunities and professional growth
  • Development of strategic and technical skills

The profile of students participating in the TAKEOFF with TAAG Internship Programme will be recommended by their respective educational institutions, ensuring they meet the programme requirements. Candidates will subsequently be assessed by TAAG.
