TAAG VOLUNTEERS BEGIN PREPARATIONS FOR “SOLIDARY DECEMBER 2025”

In Huíla Province, the “TAAG Mão Amiga” volunteers began, this Friday, the preparations for the solidarity initiative known as “Solidary December 2025”, which will run under the theme “Children and the Right to Play”, at the Children’s Shelter (LAAC). The first day of work was marked by strong engagement, creativity, and a deep sense of social commitment.

Early in the morning, the volunteers were involved in several activities to prepare the space, including a symbolic and innovative action with a sustainable vision. This involved reusing recyclable materials such as tyres, which are being transformed into bases for swings, painted, and prepared to be installed in different areas of the LAAC courtyard. These elements will form part of the future Solidarity Mini Children's Park, reinforcing the importance of circular economy practices and environmental awareness.

The TAAG team, coordinated by the Director of Corporate and Social Responsibility, Joaquina José, also carried out a technical visit to CINEMAX, where logistical and operational details are being arranged to welcome adolescents and children to a special cinema session.

The activities under this initiative will take place on the 20th and 21st of December at LAAC, involving TAAG teams and the Shelter Centre staff.
