TAAG Supports Children’s Talent in Sports at LAAC

As part of its Social Responsibility actions under the Sustainable Social Education project called “The Voice of the Child”, launched in June 2024, TAAG has been supporting adolescents from the LAAC shelter in the field of sports.

TAAG’s support enabled the first participation of LAAC adolescents in the 2025 Provincial Futsal Championship in Lubango, competing in the Under-13, Under-15, and Under-17 categories.

Through this initiative and its outcomes, TAAG reaffirms its commitment to contributing to the implementation of the 11 United Nations Principles on the Rights of the Child in Angola, notably promoting children’s sports as a means of inclusion, fostering interaction among children from different social backgrounds, strengthening the sense of belonging, discipline, teamwork, resilience, and the ability to cope with challenges.

Sports practice also contributes to creating a healthy social environment and transmitting values such as cooperation, respect for rules, and solidarity.
