Lubango Volunteers Host Princess/Prince Day
Aligned with the Performance Objectives of TAAG’s Social Responsibility Agenda, and with a focus on strengthening community engagement, the “TAAG Mão Amiga” Volunteer Team from the Lubango Station provided the children of LAAC with unique moments of social interaction and human care, in an activity called “Princess/Prince Day”.
The volunteers, dedicated to promoting the children’s well-being and personal care, offered the girls hair washing and braiding, while the boys received haircuts — a simple yet deeply symbolic gesture that reinforces dignity. The Princess/Prince Day also included a small exhibition of personal hygiene items, body care products, cosmetics, and basic care essentials, encouraging healthy habits, self-care education, and personal appreciation from early childhood.
This activity is part of the “Solidary December 2025” initiative, held on the 20th and 21st of December in Lubango. With this pioneering action, TAAG’s Corporate Volunteering Movement at the Lubango Station reaffirms its commitment to consistently and closely implementing the actions of the local Social Responsibility Agenda, placing people, sustainability, and human development at the centre of its work.
