Every Spring, the Serralves Foundation opens the doors of its Park and welcomes thousands of Porto citizens, and visitors from elsewhere, offering a 40 hour long cultural programme. For almost two days, the public in general has the chance to enjoy a wide variety of cultural and entertainment events: art shows, conferences and film at the Serralves Museum, visits to the Serralves House, workshops, open air activities for children and an extensive programme of music, theatre, dance and performance arts.
Serralves em Festa This unique event is called Serralves em Festa (which translates as “Party at Serralves” or “Serralves Rejoices”) and it attracts a very broad audience, due to its openness and its eclectic offering. The programme aims to link visual arts to performance arts and develop interaction and a close relationships with all those who attend the event.
