Every two years, Kenya welcomes the Safari Rally race, also known as the East African Safari Rally. this is one of the oldest automobile competitions in the world - it began in 1853 and the route goes through three countries (Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda). Some of the stages of the race can be seen near Nairobi.
