Climbing to the top of the Lion’s Head is surely one of the most incredible moments of the Cape Town tour and a great touristic spot for hike lovers. With 669 meters’ height, the journey takes about 40/60 minutes but it is extremely safe and rewarding.

Practical Information Climbing to the mountain top is entirely free. The south side is the favored place to start climbing once it is where the safest parking lot can be found. Don’t forget to take some bottles of water and snacks with you and, if you would like to contemplate the sunset/sunrise, make sure you also carry a flashlight.
