Lisbon is full of festivals!
Every two years, Rock in Rio begins the festival season with a programme for the whole family. But you can also start you summer season in June with Sumol Summer Fest: hip-hop, reggae and DJ’s at Ericeira beach, north of Lisbon. In July,m you can rock out with big international pop music and rock stars at the Nos Alive festival or Super Bock Super Rock. Or, you can relax at EDP Cool Jazz, in the neighbouring city of Oeiras. in August, contemporary jazz invades the Gulbenkian Foundation gardens with Jazz em Agosto. At the end of summer, you can dive into the soul of Fado at the Caixa Alfama festival. But if you’ve come to Lisbon during the winter, fear not! In November, Vodafone Mexe Fest brings rock and indie music to Lisbon’s Baixa area!
