AZGO - International Music Festival is one of Maputo’s main cultural events. The programme covers several music genres, and includes local artists and musicians from all over the African continent - both well-known names and new projects. The event is also an art show, with workshops, visual arts and cinema.
Let’s go! The festival is named after a local slang expression: “azgo”, which means “let’s go”! This name reflects the spirit of this event and its purpose: inviting people to immerse themselves in the music and culture of Mozambique and Africa.
Practical Information AZGO takes place at the Eduardo Mondlane University campus, at Avenida do Zimbabwe, in Maputo. For more information, check the official website.
