AZGO - International Music Festival is one of Maputo’s main cultural events. The programme covers several music genres, and includes local artists and musicians from all over the African continent - both well-known names and new projects. The event is also an art show, with workshops, visual arts and cinema.

The festival is named after a local slang expression: “azgo”, which means “let’s go”! This name reflects the spirit of this event and its purpose: inviting people to immerse themselves in the music and culture of Mozambique and Africa.
