The sweet coast of Catumbela
Catumbela has more than just one beach: we are talking about a whole coastline filled with wonderful beaches. The Blue Bay (Baía Azul) is a mandatory stop for those searching for the crystal clear waters that have given the area its name.
Morena Beach is also a favourite thanks to its white sand and warm waters.
Fans of scuba diving should head for Caota beach, just 10 kilometres away from the city.
In every beach in Catumbela you will get the same reception: the beauty of Nature in its purest state!

Nature all around us
Angola is home to countless treasures, and these include its wildlife, which you definitely must see. Catumbela's contribution to this treasure includes the Búfalo Park where you can observe the African buffalo, the area's dominant species, but you can also find leopards, jackals, hyenas, lions and many others.
Before you finish your tour, make sure you climb the Morro do Sombreiro — at the top of this hill you have a great view of Benguela's beautiful coast.
