TAAG ANGOLA AIRLINES SIGNS CODESHARE AGREEMENT WITH LATAM BRASIL
TAAG Angola Airlines has announced a new codeshare agreement with LATAM Brasil, strengthening air connectivity between Africa and South America while significantly expanding travel options for its customers. Through the partnership, TAAG passengers will gain access to more than 50 destinations across Brazil via São Paulo–Guarulhos International Airport (GRU), benefiting from greater travel flexibility, integrated itineraries and a seamless connection experience between both airlines. The agreement enhances TAAG’s customer value proposition for both leisure and business travellers and supports the airline’s broader commercial strategy of expanding its network reach through strategic partnerships. TAAG MANAGEMENT ASSURES CONTINUITY OF OPERATIONS
TAAG’s management wishes to inform you that,
following meetings held with the trade union representatives who had announced a
work stoppage for 1 September, the strike notice has been withdrawn,
and negotiations are continuing with a view to reaching a balanced and
sustainable solution.
This decision ensures that operations can continue as normal and that the
negotiation process can continue within the framework of dialogue between the Management and the
workers’ representatives.

Luanda, 6 August 2026 – TAAG Angola Airlines clarifies that reports published by Novo Jornal alleging that the airline “left behind” Mozambique’s First Lady are inaccurate. The Bom Jesus–Maputo flight experienced an operational delay but departed later the same day and was never cancelled. TAAG regrets the publication of a headline that contradicted information previously provided to the newspaper and has formally requested an immediate correction across the outlet’s print and digital platforms.
