TAAG Linhas Aéreas de Angola announces that there have been occasional disruptions in the schedules of some domestic and regional flights, resulting from operational issues related to the maintenance and technical refurbishment of its aircraft. The company regrets the inconvenience caused and acknowledges the impact of these changes on its passengers’ travel plans. Technical and operational teams are fully mobilized to expedite the return of aircraft to service, ensuring strict compliance with aviation industry safety standards and technical requirements. Affected passengers are being assisted through the Call Center and standard customer service channels, with continuous updates on travel information and the provision of alternative solutions whenever applicable. The gradual restoration of the fleet’s operational availability will allow for a step-by-step improvement in service regularity, with a more consistent stabilization expected starting next weekend.

TAAG opens sales for Abidjan route in April 2026

TAAG Angola Airlines has officially opened ticket sales for its new Abidjan route, advancing the company’s expansion strategy across the African continent and reinforcing Angola’s positioning as a regional connectivity hub. The start of operations, with the first commercial passenger flight, is scheduled for April 6, 2026, linking Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport (NBJ) to Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (ABJ) in Abidjan, the economic capital of Côte d’Ivoire and one of the main financial and logistics centers in West Africa.
