WORKSHOP ON INCLUSION AND GENDER EQUALITY IN CIVIL AVIATION

TAAG Angola Airlines took part, on 18 March in Luanda, in the workshop and fair organized by ANAC under the theme “Well-being, Inclusion and Gender Equality in Civil Aviation,” reaffirming its commitment to promoting more inclusive environments and encouraging the active participation of youth in the sector.

The event featured several roundtable discussions, with particular emphasis on the first panel, dedicated to opportunities for the new generation, moderated by TAAG’s Board Member for Human Capital and Legal Affairs. The session brought together representatives from various institutions, who shared perspectives on current challenges and the transformative role of young people in the future of civil aviation.

The Careers Fair stood out as a dynamic space for interaction and discovery, providing students and aspiring professionals with direct contact with the different areas of aviation. TAAG’s participation highlighted the diversity of its roles and its active contribution to career guidance, as well as to bridging the gap between academia and the job market.

The programme also featured inspiring testimonials from industry professionals, including TAAG pilot Neila Trindade, a Boeing 777 captain, who shared her outstanding career path. The event was also attended by several institutional entities, including the Secretary of State for Civil Aviation, Maritime and Port Sectors, Adilson Gabriel Alves Catala, reinforcing the joint commitment to inclusion and the sustainable development of civil aviation.
