Transfer of international flights to AIAAN

Transfer of international flights to AIAAN

Starting from October 19

TAAG, Angola Airlines, announces the full and definitive transfer of all its international flight operations to the new Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport (AIAAN), starting Sunday, October 19, 2025.

This strategic decision, marking the completion of the phased transition process, represents a historic milestone for civil aviation in Angola. TAAG’s consolidation at AIAAN will bring significant gains in operational efficiency, fleet management synergies, and an improved customer experience, aligning with the national strategy to establish Luanda/Icolo e Bengo as a leading hub in Southern Africa.

All international flights (including Lisbon, São Paulo, Johannesburg, and other destinations) will now operate exclusively from AIAAN. TAAG advises passengers to plan their journey to the new airport in advance.
