47 hectares of pure leisure With about of 47 hectares in size, the Vondelpark is inspired in the style of english gardens, with small paths and trails, lakes, canals and picturesque bridges, surrounded by the green of the afforestation. One of the highlights is the garden with more than 70 species of roses. If you take the family, the children also have a dedicated space to play. In the Park happens several cultural and sporting events. In the open air theatre, enjoy from May to September, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, free concerts and shows.
Practical Information The Vondelpark is located in the centre of Amsterdam near the Leidseplein and Museumplein. If you want to take public transportations, there are trams to the park. For a central place to stay, there are old mansions transformed into beautiful hotels.
