Livraria Lello & Irmão
When the Lello's brothers decided to open a bookstore at 144 Rua das Carmelitas in 1906, they already knew that there were potential to have a major impact on the cultural scene of Oporto. What they did not know, surely, is that, after 112 years of its inauguration, the place would receive more than 1 million visitors a year, would inspire the most read saga of all time and would be present in the most prestigious lists of the most beautiful bookstores in the world. The expression "looks like a story straight out of a fairy tale" applies here perfectly.

Since its foundation, the Livraria Lello & Irmão is essentially a place to buy books, but also a place that could be described in the books.
Passeio dos Clérigos
The city of Oporto never ceases to amaze. For even there, next to the Lello bookstore, there has been, since 2013, a new landscape that has brought Oporto's downtown back to life: the Passeio dos Clérigos - a pedestrian street with shops, restaurants, cafes and an astonishing view of the Clérigos Tower. If you still do not know where to spend the afternoon, the garden - at the top of the street - invites you to watch the sunset in the heart of the "Invicta".
